The JMS Bio-GATE is designed for wastewater treatment sludge, grit, and screening applications. For shafted or shaftless screw conveyor applications, the Bio-GATE allows transfer of product to different conveyors or distributes it to storage yards, vessels, or truck trailers. It can also be used under Bio-HOPPER and Bio-SILO live-bottom screws for truck load-out.
The Bio-GATE isolates product when closed and allows flow when open. Slide gates are used where material drops to atmosphere, and applications under high head load use a wedge sealing design. Machined knife gates handle applications that are under pressure when open, such as a maintenance gate between live-bottom screws and a pump.
