Water and Wastewater Treatment Equipment. Engineered for Performance, Built to Last.

From intake to discharge, JMS designs and manufactures the process equipment that keeps municipal and industrial treatment plants running. Every system is engineered to order and backed by aftermarket services for the life of the installation.

Industry Overview

Water and wastewater treatment is the foundation of public health and environmental protection. Treatment plants operate around the clock, processing millions of gallons daily under strict regulatory standards. The equipment inside those plants needs to perform reliably for decades, and that’s exactly what JMS builds.
JMS has supplied equipment to hundreds of municipal and industrial treatment facilities across the United States and internationally. Our Mega-TREATMENT product line delivers solutions for clarification, sedimentation, flocculation, sludge removal, and aeration. Our Bio-HANDLING line moves and stores the solids that treatment processes generate. Together, they cover the full process chain.

Applications We Serve

Clarification & Sediment

Plate settler systems and clarifier mechanisms engineered for high-rate settling in both new construction and retrofit applications. Our Mega-SETTLER and Mega-SYSTEM product families are installed in treatment plants across North America.

Flocculation

Horizontal, vertical, and walking beam paddle wheel flocculators designed for precise energy input and gentle mixing. The Mega-FLOC line is engineered to optimize chemical treatment and reduce operating costs.

Sludge & Scum Removal

Chain and flight collectors, suction header systems, and scum pipe assemblies that keep sedimentation basins clean and operating at design capacity. Mega-SCRAPER, Mega-VAC, and Mega-SKIMMER systems are built for continuous, low-maintenance operation.

Aeration

Low-profile cascade aerators designed for efficient oxygen transfer in post-aeration and re-aeration applications. Compact, reliable, and low-maintenance.

Solids Handling & Conveyance

crew conveyors, belt conveyors, and sliding frames engineered for screenings, grit, biosolids, and other challenging materials. Bio-SCREW shafted and shaftless conveyors are designed to handle the abrasive, corrosive conditions that water treatment environments demand.

Storage Systems

Enclosed hoppers, silos, open-top bins, and slide gates for intermediate and long-term storage of biosolids, screenings, grit, and bulk materials. Bio-HOPPER, Bio-SILO, and Bio-BIN systems are custom-sized to match facility throughput and space constraints.

Who We Work With

Municipal Treatment Plants

Cities, counties, water authorities, and utility districts rely on JMS equipment for new plant construction, expansion projects, and equipment replacement programs. We work directly with plant owners, consulting engineers, and general contractors to deliver systems that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Industrial Facilities

Industrial operations with on-site water treatment, including process water, pretreatment, and discharge compliance, use JMS equipment to meet effluent standards and manage solids. Our engineer-to-order approach means every system is sized and configured for the actual operating conditions at your facility.

Aftermarket Services for Water & Wastewater

The equipment we build is designed to run for decades, and we stand behind it for the full lifecycle. JMS Aftermarket provides OEM parts, field service, site assessments, and equipment rehabilitation for every product we manufacture.

Site Assessments

JMS field engineers evaluate your existing equipment, document current conditions, and identify performance risks before they become failures. Every assessment produces a detailed report with prioritized recommendations.

OEM Parts & Service

Factory-original replacement parts manufactured to the same specifications as your original equipment. Our field service technicians handle installation, alignment, and startup so your plant stays on schedule.

Rehabilitation & Upgrades

Extend the useful life of your JMS equipment with structural repairs, component upgrades, and modern materials. We rebuild equipment on-site or at our facility, depending on scope and plant operations.
