Each link is investment cast from aerospace-grade, precipitation-hardening stainless steel, roughly twice as hard as conventional cast steel chain, with a full-length reinforcing rib that carries higher pull and shock loads without the stress risers that crack cast and fabricated links. An install-by-hand, non-rotating pin lets one person assemble the chain without pressing, and precise cast tolerances help reduce grit entry into the joint so wear stays low.
When paired with properly selected polyurethane or stainless-steel sprockets, Mega-CHAIN is engineered for a 20-year design life in continuous-duty water and wastewater service.
