Jim Myers & Sons Names Brian Aspell Chief Operating Officer

Jim Myers & Sons, Inc. (JMS) has named Brian Aspell as its Chief Operating Officer. Aspell joined the company in June 2026 and reports to President and CEO Sam Myers.

As COO, Aspell leads operations across all JMS business units, with responsibility for project delivery from the moment a contract is signed through the successful completion of a customer’s project. That scope reaches across engineering, project management, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality, and it points to one outcome: delivering on JMS commitments with greater consistency and predictability for the operators, engineers, and contractors the company serves.

Aspell brings more than 30 years of operational leadership. He began his career as a maintenance technician in the United States Air Force and on the manufacturing floor at General Motors, then advanced through engineering and operations roles to the executive level. His background spans large-scale manufacturing as well as companies the size of JMS, including years leading engineer-to-order divisions comparable to the company’s own. Across those roles he has built a track record of bringing teams together to improve how organizations operate while respecting the people and culture already in place.

“As JMS grows, my focus needs to stay on the strategy and long-term direction of the company, and our team deserves a leader dedicated to how we operate every day. Brian is that leader. His experience running engineer-to-order operations, and the way he brings teams together, is exactly what will help us deliver for our customers more consistently as one JMS,” said Sam Myers, President and CEO of JMS.

“JMS has earned three generations of trust with its customers, and it has a team that clearly cares about the work. My job is to support that team, strengthen how we deliver from contract through completion, and help JMS keep every commitment it makes,” said Brian Aspell.
