A new plant is constructed to replace an aging plant which had been operating under and EPD Consent Order for many years. The new plant offers a membrane bioreactor system which increases capacity and treatment efficiency. JMS Bio-SCREW (Screw Conveyor System) are part of a Biosolids Handling Facility.
- JMS was chosen to supply three Bio-SCREW (Screw Conveyor Systems) at this facility for a belt filter press dewatered sludge application.
- JMS equipment displays three types of shaftless Bio-SCREW Conveyors, with one horizontal screw conveyor, one inclined, and a third unique tail-pivot conveyor (to distribute material over a 140o arc.)
- Performance of all equipment has been exceptional over the last year since startup.

Sam Myers joined the Jim Myers & Son’s (JMS) team in March of 2017 and is a third-generation family member of JMS. Sam currently holds the role of Regional Sales Manager and Product Manager (JMS Eco-AIR, Low Profile Cascade Aerator). Sam is a graduate of the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where he received a BS in Business Administration (Finance and Business Management) and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte.
